About The Position

Synera is on a mission to accelerate engineering with AI. They have built the industry’s leading AI Agent platform for engineering teams, enabling companies to turn complex, manual workflows into automated processes. The company is rapidly expanding its Sales teams in Germany and the United States to support increasing demand from innovative deep-tech companies. This role focuses on growing and developing the existing customer base by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities, introducing customers to new features, AI agents, and modules. The Business Development Representative will work closely with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers, sitting at the intersection of customer needs, product value, and revenue growth. This role is ideal for someone who loves relationship-driven sales, strategic conversations, and helping customers maximize value from a solution, while remaining hands-on, revenue-focused, and close to the action.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in outbound sales in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Strong English language skills (spoken and written).
  • A strong track record (e.g., consistently exceeding quota over multiple quarters).
  • Ability to pitch complex technical solutions convincingly.
  • Comfortable handling rejection, iterating quickly, and bringing a strong growth mindset and resilience.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, cold outreach tools, and LinkedIn prospecting (e.g., Salesforce, Clay, Sales Navigator, Aircall).
  • You love hunting and driving new opportunities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI, CAD, CAE, or engineering automation.
  • Additional proficiency in a European language - e.g., French, Dutch, or Swedish.
  • Further language abilities are welcome.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the existing customer base.
  • Work closely with Account Executives and Customer Success to plan and execute smart expansion strategies.
  • Develop a deep understanding of how customers use Synera, their challenges, and where additional AI agents, features, or modules can create value.
  • Clearly and compellingly explain new features, modules, and use cases, focusing on customer outcomes and measurable business impact.
  • Build and manage an expansion pipeline end-to-end: from opportunity identification through deal support to close.
  • Bring insights from customer conversations to the product and GTM teams, helping shape future features, use cases, and positioning.
