Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in the insurance industry, specifically within a brokerage or underwriting environment.
Deep technical understanding of Cyber, Fidelity (Vertrauenschaden), and IT Professional Indemnity (IT-VH) insurance lines.
Proven ability to analyze, differentiate, and draft complex insurance clauses and legal conditions.
Strong track record in commercial negotiations, with the ability to "sell" technical risks and extensions to capacity providers.
High level of attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle nuances in contractual language.
German: business fluent / native
English: business fluent

Nice To Haves

A degree in Law or specialized Insurance Law (Versicherungsfachwirt/Betriebswirt).
Experience in agile product development or project management methodologies.
Background in claims handling for financial lines, providing insight into how clauses perform in loss scenarios.
Experience with digital insurance platforms and the technical implementation of wordings into automated systems.

Responsibilities

Reviewing and analyzing complex broker-specific insurance conditions and clauses against market standards.
Systematic comparison of requested broker wordings with existing product capabilities and internal wording libraries.
Presenting, justifying, and negotiating product extensions and specialized clauses with insurers and capacity providers.
Continuous monitoring of the competitive landscape, specifically within Cyber, Fidelity, and IT Professional Indemnity (IT-PI).
Designing and drafting bespoke insurance modules and policy endorsements based on broker demands.
Acting as the technical interface between broker requirements, internal product management, and external underwriting teams.
Maintaining and updating standard operating procedures for wording versions and approved technical extensions.
