The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be the first point of contact for customers needing help finding solutions. This role involves developing customer-centric sales skills to deliver a stellar customer experience and learning Cloudflare’s products and services in detail. Team members have opportunities to move into roles across the organization, especially in mid-market sales, customer success, solutions engineering, and sales operations. The BDR will own and meet target quotas related to qualified opportunities, response SLAs, sales pipeline value, and revenue. They will develop new business opportunities from inbound and marketing-generated leads, discover pain points and use cases, map them to Cloudflare solutions, and qualify them for Enterprise sales opportunities. This role requires working cross-functionally with stakeholders such as account executives, marketing, sales operations, and fellow BDRs, as well as reporting, tracking, and managing sales activities and results using SFDC. The BDR will also play an active role in the creation and iteration of team processes.
