Business Development Representative (BDR)

Climb•San Francisco, CA

About The Position

Climb is an AI-native Data & AI consultancy and Databricks partner serving healthcare, life sciences, financial services, and insurance companies. It helps organizations move data and AI projects from pilot to production through small, senior engineering pods and fixed-scope engagements. Climb emphasizes long-term client partnerships, mentorship from founders and senior architects, and early exposure to enterprise deals. The Business Development Representative opens new accounts across regulated industries. The role researches companies running on or evaluating Databricks, identifies business problems affecting their data teams, and initiates conversations with the people responsible for those problems. The BDR works directly with a senior member of the go-to-market team and alongside solution architects and Databricks account teams on pursuits, while learning how enterprise consulting deals are scoped and won. The role is intended for a BDR who builds their own pipeline and is growing toward account ownership and closing deals. Climb offers a path to Account Executive, with a promotion review at 12 months tied to sourced pipeline and conversion. The position also offers direct access to founders and senior architects, exposure to enterprise AI work, and an opportunity to help develop the firm's growth playbook.
