About The Position

Claravine is hiring an Enterprise Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate qualified sales pipeline by engaging marketing and data leaders at large brands. The role owns a set of target accounts and uses cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and event outreach to connect with relevant decision-makers. The BDR works closely with Marketing and Account Executives (AEs), using modern outbound tools and AI-powered automation to research accounts, build prospecting workflows, and personalize outreach. The position offers an opportunity to develop enterprise sales skills and progress toward an Account Executive or another sales career path, based on performance and business needs. The role targets marketing and business leaders who own budgets, together with analytics, marketing operations, paid media, and content teams at the manager level through VP and above at large North American brands. Success is measured by qualified sales opportunities from assigned accounts that are accepted by the AE, as well as the outbound activity that supports those opportunities. The position is hybrid in Lehi, Utah, and requires working from the Lehi office as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in outbound SDR/BDR work or phone-based sales, including cold calling, with demonstrable results.
  • Ability to work from the Lehi office as required.
  • Confidence conducting live calls with senior leaders who are not expecting the call.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to plan the workday, protect calling blocks, and consistently log activity.

Nice To Haves

  • B2B SaaS or Martech sales experience.
  • Hands-on experience with a modern outbound stack and AI automation, such as Claude, Clay, Sales Navigator, and lemlist.
  • Experience building research or prospecting workflows rather than relying solely on templates.
  • Experience prospecting named enterprise accounts and multithreading across buying groups.

Responsibilities

  • Make 2–3 hours of phone calls each day and coordinate calls and voicemails with email and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Prospect 10–15 contacts per account across business units, reaching leaders who own budgets and identifying the appropriate contact when a prospect is not responsible for the area.
  • Build and improve account research and prospecting workflows using tools such as Claude, Clay, and lemlist; review the output and use it to make outreach relevant.
  • Share relevant content, invite contacts to Claravine events and dinners, attend local industry events in person, and follow up with attendees.
  • Hand off opportunities to Account Executives with context about the contact, the problem they are trying to solve, why they may act now, and whether a budget owner is involved.
  • Keep Salesforce up to date and share feedback with Marketing about which messages are resonating.
  • Complete product, buyer, and MEDDIC-style qualification training; roleplay talk tracks; review calls; meet ramped and full goals; and build a multithreaded account plan with the AE.
