About The Position

Pacific Energy Concepts (PEC) is hiring four Business Development Representatives for its Chicago office. The role generates new sales opportunities for Sales Engineers through marketing-generated leads and targeted outbound prospecting, including cold calling. Representatives can expect to make 50–100 outbound calls per day, depending on conversion rates, and will have access to prospecting tools, training, and support. The position is based in PEC’s River North office and offers a $50,000 base salary with expected first-year on-target earnings of $70,000–$90,000. PEC is a privately owned energy optimization company providing customized LED lighting, advanced controls, EV charging, and energy monitoring solutions. Requirements

1–3 years of sales experience in an outbound environment; B2B experience is preferred.
Genuine interest in learning and becoming an expert in the company’s field.
Ability to explain complicated ideas in simple, compelling ways.
Coachable mindset and willingness to follow the company’s sales playbook.
Passion for outbound prospecting and lead generation.
