Business Development Representative (Tokyo, Japan)

Figma is seeking a Business Development Representative to join their team and contribute to their mission of making design accessible to all. This role involves prospecting new accounts, building customer relationships, and generating interest in Figma's platform. The ideal candidate should have sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a growth mindset. Fluency in both English and Japanese is required. This is a full-time role that can be based in Tokyo, Japan.

• Generate interest in Figma's platform by cold-calling and emailing prospective customers
• Identify and analyze target prospects based on market, firmographic, and product signals
• Hit specific daily and monthly activity metrics to help progress toward revenue goals
• Write and improve on prospect messaging
• Establish relationships with key stakeholders within Figma's target Enterprise and Mid-Market accounts

• 1+ years of relevant sales experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Growth mindset and ability to act on feedback quickly
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Native level Japanese and High Business fluency in English
• Interest in the SaaS space
