About the position
In this role as a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for developing and cultivating sales opportunities in the South Korea market. Working closely with the marketing team, you will utilize both inbound and outbound prospecting techniques to generate leads and exceed monthly goals. Fluency in Korean and English is required, and prior experience in business development or sales, particularly in cybersecurity and SaaS product offerings, is preferred. Responsibilities
- Surface and develop qualified sales opportunities in the South Korea market
- Work with inbound marketing to cultivate customer/prospect relationship
- Execute outbound prospecting techniques and qualify leads to consistently hit and exceed monthly goals
- Log activity consistently and reliably in Salesforce.com
- Work collaboratively with Account Executive team across APJ to develop territory and strengthen pipeline
- Take direction, be coached and mentored
- Desire to pursue sales as a career
- Demonstrate success in interacting with people by phone, leading and persuading, and overcoming obstacles associated with prospecting
- Have a strong presence and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Korean and English
- Have at least 1 year of business development/sales experience
- Prior experience in building pipeline/lead generation/cold calling
- Preferably have a background in cybersecurity and SaaS product offerings
- Experience with or ability to learn web applications such as Salesforce.com and LinkedIn
