About the position
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Coast, you will play a crucial role in selling Coast's product and building relationships with prospective clients. Your responsibilities will include uncovering new opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, and networking, as well as executing outbound campaigns to book demos and meetings. You will work closely with the sales team to accelerate the sales cycle and represent Coast with integrity and professionalism. This is an opportunity to join an early-stage startup and contribute to its growth while driving revenue and ensuring the long-term success of the sales organization.
- Uncover and create well-qualified new opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, and networking
- Create and execute outbound campaigns (emails, calls) to book demos/meetings with relevant leads
- Research and prospect ideal customers and gather key lead information through open-ended questions and thoughtful conversations
- Understand the business, needs, and the buying cycle of the leads, building and nurturing preliminary relationships
- Work closely with the Account Executives and the rest of the sales team to accelerate the sales cycle
- Represent Coast with integrity and professionalism at all times in all written and oral communications while highlighting Coast’s value proposition and key selling points to raise interest
- Use Salesforce and other best in practice tools for daily activity and process
- 1+ years of experience in sales or a customer-facing role, preferably in B2B
- Experience using CRM software such as Salesforce or Hubspot
- Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent time management
- Clear and direct communication skills, both verbal and written
