Full-Stack Engineer

Coast is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to play a crucial role in shaping, designing, delivering, and running client-facing features. This role requires collaboration with Product and User Experience teams to differentiate the product and meet the velocity needs of the company. The Full-Stack Engineer will have the opportunity to build end-to-end product features, contribute to the engineering culture, and have a voice in early technology and implementation decisions. • Build product features end-to-end, from web UI to services back end
• Help shape the initial engineering culture of the company
• Have a voice in early technology and implementation choices
• Work to evaluate and integrate critical third-party software and infrastructure including the payments and mobility stacks
• Challenge the team to automate, improve process, simplify, and raise the bar for quality
• Have 4-6+ years experience working with first-class engineering teams with a proven track record of frequent delivery of quality software to production
• Have experience with modern Python or a similar language ecosystem
• Have experience with modern web development, including JavaScript/TypeScript, component libraries, and modern frameworks (e.g. React, Vue)
• Have experience working in cross-functional agile teams in collaboration with product and design
• Have hands-on knowledge developing applications in the cloud (preferably AWS)
• Be pragmatic and get stuff done
• Be passionate about building amazing products for customers
• Be able to work independently with little oversight or management in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high-energy and mission-driven colleagues.

4-6+ years experience working with first-class engineering teams with a proven track record of frequent delivery of quality software to production

Experience with modern Python or a similar language ecosystem

Experience with modern web development, including JavaScript/TypeScript, component libraries, and modern frameworks (e.g. React, Vue)

Experience working in cross-functional agile teams in collaboration with product and design

Hands-on knowledge developing applications in the cloud (preferably AWS)

Pragmatic and able to get stuff done

Passionate about building amazing products for customers
