Business Development Rep

ExperINS•Austin, TX
•$55,000 - $62,000•Hybrid

About The Position

ExperINS is hiring a Business Development Representative to initiate relevant conversations with HR and finance leaders, secure qualified first meetings, and pass qualified prospects to the Head of Sales. This is a relationship-focused outbound role centered on thoughtful, researched outreach rather than scripted, high-volume calling. The representative will work closely with the Head of Sales and Sales & Executive Operations Coordinator, learn how complex benefits deals come together, and help build the outbound playbook from scratch. The role owns outbound outreach and the first step of the sales process. The representative will contact senior leaders through email, events, social media, phone, and in-person interactions; research prospects; book and confirm qualified meetings; support follow-up and information gathering; maintain accurate Zoho CRM records; represent ExperINS at local industry events; and document effective messaging and outreach practices. The first 30 days focus on learning ExperINS's services and ideal client, onboarding to Zoho CRM and prospecting tools, and beginning outreach to an initial list of 150 prospective accounts. By 90 days, the goal is to hold six qualified meetings per month, advance initial opportunities, and have a Texas Life, Accident & Health license in hand or in progress. Within the first year, the goal is a steady, predictable flow of qualified meetings and a documented outbound playbook. The position is based in Austin, Texas, with a hybrid schedule requiring three days per week in the office. Compensation is a $55,000–$62,000 base salary plus uncapped performance bonuses, with target total compensation of $85,000–$95,000. The role reports to the Head of Sales.
