About The Position

Our client is a Midwest power generation and energy services company that engineers, services, and monitors on-site generation and electrical infrastructure for critical facilities. It also enrolls customers’ backup generators in utility demand response programs, helping turn equipment costs into revenue. With new growth-focused leadership and private equity backing, the company is making its first dedicated sales hire. This person will build a sales pipeline and help shape the sales function, with a path to lead the team as it grows. The role sells the company’s energy solutions, including standby and prime generation, switchgear, battery storage, microgrids, and real-time monitoring. An in-house engineering team supports project scoping and delivery. The role is based in Eastern Iowa and involves travel across Iowa and surrounding states, with the posting estimating travel at 30–50%.
