About the position
We are seeking a Business Development Executive responsible for generating new business sales from organisations across the DACH, Nordics, Netherlands, and Central & Eastern Europe regions. The main duties and responsibilities include achieving the new business sales target, developing and implementing sales plans, working closely with marketing and pre-sales teams, building strong relationships with prospects, and contributing to strategic discussions for continued growth. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in meeting sales targets, strong communication and negotiating skills, and strong organizational abilities.
Responsibilities
- Achieve the new business sales target
- Develop and implement sales plans for the region
- Identify top prospects and gaps in the market
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospect to contract stage
- Collaborate with the Marketing team and Pre-sales Customer Success team to support new business revenue goals
- Utilize various tools available for sales, such as Lighthouse, FT.com stories, copyright leads, etc.
- Work closely with the Business Development Manager for the region
- Stay knowledgeable about the region, market, and competitors' developments
- Build strong relationships with prospects and stakeholders at a senior level
- Contribute to strategic discussions regarding product, pricing, and process developments
- Document all sales activities in Salesforce and follow up on leads
- Maintain an effective and positive team atmosphere through pipeline management and communication
- Collaborate with support teams to deliver an excellent customer experience
- Have a proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Possess strong communication, consultative sales, and negotiating skills
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills
