Collaboration Tooling Engineer (monday.com)

This role is for an engineer to help implement and support the collaboration tools and services used by the staff of the Financial Times. The focus will be on collaboration tools such as Slack, Jira, monday.com, Figma/Figjam, Accelo, Confluence, LucidChart & LucidSpark. The engineer will contribute to the design, implementation, and ongoing support of these tools, engage with other teams, contribute to product roadmaps, and stay updated on relevant developments in the marketplace. They will also help manage suppliers, liaise with vendors and internal customers, and contribute to improving the team's technology, processes, and skills.

• Contribute to the design, implementation, and ongoing support of collaboration tools used by FT staff
• Engage with other disciplines, groups, and teams across FT Technology and beyond to ensure effective collaboration and promote the tools and solutions managed by the team
• Contribute to the product and renewal roadmaps for the team's owned tools
• Stay updated on the capabilities and developments in the marketplace related to collaboration tools
• Assist in managing and selecting suppliers for key collaboration tools or technologies
• Communicate and coordinate with vendors and internal customers of collaboration tools
• Help foster an inclusive, respectful, multidisciplinary, and open culture within the team
• Contribute to improving the technology, processes, and skills of the team
• Possess experience with monday.com as a user or admin
• Demonstrate a passion for realistic high-quality engineering excellence.
