About The Position

This internship program aims to develop future talent for the Siemens organization and help interns identify potential career paths within Siemens post-graduation. The program focuses on smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure, with interns rotating through various departments at their local branch office. Building Automation Systems manage and control all systems within a building, including lighting, HVAC, security, and fire safety. The Building Automation Service Sales Team supports the Service Agreements business within the commercial Smart Buildings Automation Controls Service team, working with the Operations Team to perform automation service and maintenance in large commercial buildings. Sales Executives act as ambassadors for Siemens technology, products, and services.

Requirements

  • Must be current enrollment as an undergraduate at an accredited 4-year U.S. college or university.
  • Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Energy/Sustainability, Built Environment, Construction Management or Business Administration, Sales/Marketing with a strong technical engineering aptitude.
  • Earliest Graduation Date: December 2027
  • Ability to work 40-hours per week for the 10-week program (May - July or June - August).
  • No relocation assistance or housing stipend is provided. Must be willing and able to work at the branch office location and surrounding local area.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company or school sponsorship. This program does not support students on a Visa such as F1, J1, M1 and H1B as well as OPT/CPT.

Responsibilities

  • Position Siemens as an industry leader among service providers, leveraging Siemens world-class digital service delivery as a key differentiator.
  • Collaborate with operations and internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
  • Help prospect for new customers and engage with existing customers on new offerings.
  • Visit customer sites with both Solutions and Services Sales Teams.
  • Develop value-based proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations.
  • Work with operations, finance, legal and other inside and outside resources to obtain the sale.
  • Attend job take-offs and turnover meetings.
  • Actively participate in sales department meetings, workshops, and seminars to stay knowledgeable on current market, business, and product trends.

Benefits

  • The hourly pay range for this position is $24 - $28 per hour, based off of your projected graduation year.
