Building Automation Service Sales Intern
About The Position
This is a 10-week internship program focused on smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure, where interns will rotate through various departments at a local branch office. The program aims to develop future talent for Siemens and help interns identify career interests post-graduation. The role involves working alongside Sales Managers and Sales Executives, assisting with lead generation, sales presentations, CRM data management, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Interns will also gain exposure to different business segments including Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, Security, and Energy/Sustainability Systems.
Requirements
- Must be current enrollment as an undergraduate at an accredited 4-year U.S. college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Energy/Sustainability, Built Environment, Construction Management or Business Administration, Sales/Marketing with a strong technical engineering aptitude.
- Earliest Graduation Date: December 2027
- Ability to work 40-hours per week for the 10-week program (May - July or June - August).
- Must be willing and able to work at the branch office location and surrounding local area.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company or school sponsorship. This program does not support students on a Visa such as F1, J1, M1 and H1B as well as OPT/CPT.

- Participation in a school sponsored sales engineering club/organization, pursuing a professional sales certificate or similar.
Responsibilities
- Position Siemens as an industry leader among service providers, leveraging Siemens world-class digital service delivery as a key differentiator.
- Collaborate with operations and internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
- Help prospect for new customers and engage with existing customers on new offerings.
- Visit customer sites with both Solutions and Services Sales Teams.
- Develop value-based proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations.
- Work with operations, finance, legal and other inside and outside resources to obtain the sale.
- Attend job take-offs and turnover meetings.
- Actively participate in sales department meetings, workshops, and seminars to stay knowledgeable on current market, business, and product trends.
Benefits
- Hourly pay range of $24 - $28 per hour, based off of projected graduation year.
