About The Position

This is a 10-week internship program focused on smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure, where interns will rotate through various departments at a local branch office. The program aims to develop future talent for Siemens and help interns identify career interests post-graduation. The internship involves working with the Building Automation Solutions Sales Team, which supports new construction customers by developing and implementing plans to grow and manage relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, and end-users, capitalizing on sales opportunities, and executing deals within established guidelines. Sales Executives act as ambassadors for Siemens technology, products, and services.

Requirements

  • Must be current enrollment as an undergraduate at an accredited 4-year U.S. college or university.
  • Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Energy/Sustainability, Built Environment, Construction Management or Business Administration, Sales/Marketing with a strong technical engineering aptitude.
  • Earliest Graduation Date: December 2027
  • Ability to work 40-hours per week for the 10-week program (May - July or June - August).
  • No relocation assistance or housing stipend is provided. Must be willing and able to work at the branch office location and surrounding local area.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company or school sponsorship. This program does not support students on a Visa such as F1, J1, M1 and H1B as well as OPT/CPT.

Responsibilities

  • Position Siemens as an industry leader among service providers, leveraging Siemens world-class digital service delivery as a key differentiator.
  • Collaborate with operations and internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
  • Help prospect for new customers and engage with existing customers on new offerings.
  • Visit customer sites with both Solutions and Services Sales Teams.
  • Develop value-based proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations.
  • Work with operations, finance, legal and other inside and outside resources to obtain the sale.
  • Attend job take-offs and turnover meetings.
  • Actively participate in sales department meetings, workshops, and seminars to stay knowledgeable on current market, business, and product trends.

Benefits

  • Hourly pay range of $24 - $28 per hour, based off of projected graduation year.
