About The Position

This is a 10-week Building Automation Solutions Sales Internship program at Siemens, focusing on smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure. The program involves rotations through various departments within a local branch office. Interns will gain hands-on experience, real-world skills, and valuable knowledge while developing professionally. The goal is to develop future talent for Siemens and help interns identify career interests post-graduation.

Requirements

Must be current enrollment as an undergraduate at an accredited 4-year U.S. college or university.
Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Energy/Sustainability, Built Environment, Construction Management or Business Administration, Sales/Marketing with a strong technical engineering aptitude.
Earliest Graduation Date: December 2027
Ability to work 40-hours per week for the 10-week program (May - July or June - August).
Must be willing and able to work at the branch office location and surrounding local area.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company or school sponsorship. This program does not support students on a Visa such as F1, J1, M1 and H1B as well as OPT/CPT.

Participation in a school sponsored sales engineering club/organization, pursuing a professional sales certificate or similar.

Responsibilities

Position Siemens as an industry leader among service providers, leveraging Siemens world-class digital service delivery as a key differentiator.
Collaborate with operations and internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
Help prospect for new customers and engage with existing customers on new offerings.
Visit customer sites with both Solutions and Services Sales Teams.
Develop value-based proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations.
Work with operations, finance, legal and other inside and outside resources to obtain the sale.
Attend job take-offs and turnover meetings.
Actively participate in sales department meetings, workshops, and seminars to stay knowledgeable on current market, business, and product trends.
