About The Position

The Budtender works in the Retail department at Every Day Weed in Breckenridge, Colorado. The role provides exceptional customer service, in-depth cannabis product knowledge, and a positive, educational shopping experience. The Budtender listens to customers’ preferences, offers personalized recommendations, explains product advantages and potential effects, and discusses safe consumption methods to support informed choices and responsible consumption. The role also maintains an appealing, organized store environment; keeps current on products, industry trends, and regulations; processes sales and cash transactions using the point-of-sale system; and follows company policies and applicable state and local regulations. Budtenders work collaboratively with colleagues and support the Management Team with store activities and other assigned duties. The position is part-time and pays $19.84 per hour plus tips.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in cash handling and accurate basic math calculations.
Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. or more multiple times per day.
Ability to obtain and maintain an active Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) badge in Colorado.
Availability for a schedule that varies with business needs; stores may operate nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in retail or customer service.

Handle cash transactions and use the point-of-sale system to process sales.
Follow company policies and procedures and comply with state and local regulations.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, customer-centric work atmosphere.
Support the Management Team with customer assistance, checkouts, cash handling, and other store activities.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Management Team.
