About The Position

Connected International, Inc. (Connected Cannabis Co.) is a vertically integrated cannabis company based in Sacramento and operating in California, Arizona, and Florida. The company specializes in breeding, growing, manufacturing, and distributing cannabis products. It has over 300 employees across the United States and is expanding into additional markets. The part-time Budtender works at Connected’s Sacramento retail location, providing customer service and supporting the daily operations of the retail dispensary. The role involves interacting with customers, generating sales, maintaining store standards, preventing asset loss, and working collaboratively with management and coworkers. No full-time positions are available for this opening. The schedule is based on availability established at hire and may change according to business needs. Candidates must be available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, may be scheduled with 24–48 hours’ notice, and should expect shifts that vary between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. The role is performed in a fast-paced cannabis grow location and requires physical activity, including standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance or 100 pounds with assistance.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Work a schedule reflecting availability established at hire, with hours that may increase or decrease based on business needs, including weekends and/or holidays.
Must be flexible to be scheduled with 24–48 hours’ notice.
Shift availability is required within the hours of 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally without assistance or 100 pounds with assistance.
Must be able to perform carrying, grasping, lifting, walking, standing, bending or crouching, stooping, stretching, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
Must be able to stand for extended periods while maintaining focus.
Must be able to work in varying temperature and humidity conditions.
Must not be allergic to or have a fear of insects.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service and offer positive resolutions to customer inquiries.
Generate sales through interpersonal customer interactions and suggestive selling.
Prevent asset loss through proper zoning and awareness of the sales floor.
Perform register transactions accurately and avoid errors or shortages.
Follow store visual directives and maintain store cleanliness and maintenance standards.
Demonstrate teamwork with management and coworkers to improve individual and store performance.
Partner with management and coworkers on business issues and opportunities.
Comply with company policies and procedures and follow safety standards to maintain a safe work and shopping environment.
