About The Position

The Part Time Budtender creates a world-class customer experience and promotes a positive, customer service-oriented, compliant work environment. The role executes hospitality initiatives and supports operational objectives at a PharmaCann retail location. The Budtender follows company policies and procedures, meets visual standards and presentation needs, and supports customer requirements, product performance, and sales and marketing objectives. The position calls for passion about helping people become educated about cannabis.

Requirements

Minimum age of 21, or the age required by state regulations.
High school diploma or equivalent education level.
At least 2 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
Strong analytical skills to assess data, facts, and figures.
Intermediate-level math skills.
Proven expertise and experience accurately managing a register.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to solve and resolve problems calmly, professionally, and courteously.
Strong computer-based skills.
Dynamic interpersonal and communication skills.
Business-minded personality.
Highly self-motivated and ethical.
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record background check where state-specific requirements apply.

Responsibilities

Meet and exceed personal sales volume and KPI goals.
Contribute to building the business and adapt to change in the retail model.
Help execute the hospitality program as an authentic, confident, self-leading team member.
Drive repeat business through local networking, customer data capture, patient confidence, and patient loyalty.
Maintain current knowledge of products, the cannabis industry, and relevant laws and regulations.
Answer customer questions and explain products and usage.
Deliver high customer-experience standards through customer engagement, sales techniques, and product knowledge.
Use PharmaCann’s Point of Sale system accurately.
Process customer transactions carefully and ensure register accuracy.
Follow dispensary protocols, including safety protocols, and comply with security, safety, and legal requirements.
Accommodate flexible scheduling, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Keep the point-of-sale area clean and organized.
Assist with other assigned duties and operational functions, which may include call center, inventory, outreach, security, delivery acceptance, delivery, and visual merchandising.
Where required by state or location, maintain a current driver’s license and a good driving record.
Project a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, the industry, and the community.
Embody and support PharmaCann’s culture, values, purpose, goals, and key objectives.
