About The Position

As a Budtender, you provide exceptional customer service, in-depth product knowledge, and a positive, educational shopping experience. You help customers make informed choices by offering personalized recommendations and explaining cannabis products, their potential effects, and safe consumption methods. You also help maintain an appealing store, process sales, follow company policies and applicable regulations, and support a collaborative, customer-focused team environment.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in cash handling and accurate basic math calculations.
Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. or more multiple times per day.
Ability to obtain and maintain an active Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) badge in Colorado.
Schedule varies according to business needs; stores operate seven days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
Knowledge of cannabis and its products is a plus.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers professionally and listen to their preferences and needs.
Provide product insights and personalized recommendations based on customer preferences and intended use.
Educate customers about cannabis products, potential effects, and safe consumption methods.
Keep the store neat and appealing and maintain organized product displays.
Stay informed about industry trends, product releases, and regulatory changes.
Handle cash transactions and process sales using the point-of-sale system.
Follow company policies and procedures and comply with state and local regulations.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, customer-centric work atmosphere.
Support the Management Team with store activities, including customer assistance, checkouts, and cash handling.
Perform other duties assigned by the Management Team.
