About The Position

As a Budtender, you provide exceptional customer service, in-depth product knowledge, and a positive, educational shopping experience. You offer personalized guidance about cannabis products, promote responsible and informed consumption, and help maintain a welcoming store environment while following company policies and applicable state and local regulations. This is a part-time retail position at the LivWell location in Lakewood, Colorado. Compensation is $15.71 per hour plus variable tips.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in cash handling and accurate basic math calculations.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds or more multiple times per day.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) badge in Colorado.
• Schedule varies according to business needs; availability may be needed for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cannabis and cannabis products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers professionally and listen to their preferences and needs.
• Provide product insights and personalized recommendations.
• Educate customers about product benefits, potential effects, and safe consumption methods.
• Keep the store neat and appealing, and maintain organized product displays.
• Stay informed about industry trends, product releases, and regulations.
• Handle cash transactions and use the point-of-sale system to process sales.
• Follow company policies and procedures and comply with state and local regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to support a positive, customer-focused work environment.
• Support the Management Team with store operations, customer assistance, checkouts, and cash handling.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Management Team.
