About The Position

Vireo Health of Rocky Mountain is seeking a part-time Budtender for its LivWell location in Federal Heights, Colorado. The Budtender provides exceptional customer service, shares product knowledge, and creates a positive, educational shopping experience. The role calls for enthusiasm for cannabis products, dedication to compliance, and a commitment to a welcoming environment that supports responsible and informed consumption.

The position combines customer service and product expertise with store operations, regulatory compliance, cash handling, and collaboration with the team and Management Team. Store schedules vary with business needs; locations are open seven days a week, with hours and schedules varying by location.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in cash handling and accurate basic math calculations.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. or more multiple times per day.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) badge in Colorado.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cannabis and cannabis products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers professionally and listen to their preferences and needs.
• Provide product information and personalized recommendations based on customer preferences and usage scenarios.
• Educate customers about product benefits, potential effects, and safe consumption methods.
• Maintain a neat, appealing store environment and organized product displays.
• Keep informed about industry trends, product releases, and regulatory changes.
• Handle cash transactions and use the point-of-sale system to process sales.
• Follow company policies and procedures and comply with state and local regulations.
• Work collaboratively with team members to foster a positive, customer-centric atmosphere.
• Support the Management Team with store activities, customer assistance, checkouts, and cash handling.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Management Team.
