About The Position

The Budtender provides exceptional customer service, in-depth product knowledge, and a positive, educational shopping experience for customers. The role involves helping customers make informed choices about cannabis products, following compliance requirements, and maintaining a welcoming store environment. The position is part-time at the Every Day Weed location in Denver Tech Center, Colorado, with a schedule that varies according to business needs. Compensation is $19.84 per hour plus variable tips.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in cash handling and accurate basic math calculations.
Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic.
Ability to lift 25 pounds or more multiple times per day.
Ability to obtain and maintain an active Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) badge in Colorado.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
Knowledge of cannabis and cannabis products is a plus.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers professionally, listen to their preferences and needs, and provide personalized product recommendations.
Educate customers about cannabis products, including potential effects and safe consumption methods.
Maintain an appealing, neat store and organized product displays.
Stay informed about industry trends, product releases, and changing regulations.
Process sales using the point-of-sale system and handle cash transactions accurately.
Follow company policies and procedures and comply with state and local regulations.
Collaborate with team members to support a positive, customer-focused work environment.
Support the Management Team with store operations, customer assistance, checkouts, and cash handling.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Management Team.
