About The Position
Dutch Bros Coffee is hiring a Broista in Columbia, South Carolina. This is a fast-paced, high-energy, physically demanding customer service role in which you will connect with customers, prepare drinks, and contribute to a positive shop environment. Broistas are expected to stay on their feet and move quickly while serving a steady flow of customers and providing friendly, attentive service. The role includes working shifts of up to 10 hours, supporting teammates, and being prepared to work in varying weather conditions. Some lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying of items up to 65 pounds may be required. Dutch Bros provides training, certifications, and knowledge tests to help employees meet company standards. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, make genuine connections, and help ensure each visit is kind and enjoyable.
- Help customers understand the menu and find drinks they may enjoy.
- Represent Dutch Bros values, including radiating kindness and contributing positively to the community.
- Prepare high-quality drinks efficiently while keeping pace in a busy shop.
- Arrive on time, communicate availability, and be ready to begin work when shifts start.
- Maintain a tidy workspace and follow food safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with the crew and support teammates as needed.
- Attend mandatory meetings and complete training, certifications, and knowledge tests.
