About The Position

A Brewista helps deliver 7Brew’s mission to inspire a community of kindness through a revolutionary coffee experience. Brewistas report to the stand manager and serve customers, teammates, and vendors with kindness and respect. They take and enter customer orders, collect payments, prepare drinks and premixes, and keep the stand clean and stocked. The role involves staying productive and moving with urgency throughout each shift, building genuine connections with customers, and helping customers choose drinks that suit their preferences. Brewistas follow shift-change duties, checklists, weekly chores, safety standards, and sanitation regulations. The position requires a flexible schedule, at least three shifts per week, regular weekend work, and availability for holidays when necessary.

Requirements

Able to create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions with strangers for up to five minutes at a time.
Able to work carefully and quickly with hot water, coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products.
Able to work outdoors for prolonged periods in any weather conditions.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to stand comfortably for hours at a time.
Able to climb a ladder and use a stepladder.
Able to stand, sit, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to stock and clean the stand.
Able to walk safely between and around cars in the drive-thru line.
Able to use a utility knife safely.
Able to work a flexible schedule and a minimum of three shifts per week.
Regular weekend availability and availability for holidays when necessary.

Responsibilities

Confirm customer drink orders and enter them accurately into the point-of-sale system.
Collect payments and correctly count back change.
Prepare drinks and premixes.
Work with urgency and stay productive and proactive throughout the shift, including during slow periods.
Create personal connections with customers through genuine interactions, warm smiles, and positive body language.
Know the menu and offerings and help customers identify and order drinks, providing recommendations when appropriate.
Dress appropriately for the assigned position and arrive clocked in and ready to work at the scheduled start time.
Know and complete shift-change duties, checklists, and weekly chores as needed.
Treat teammates and customers with respect and kindness.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
Follow company procedures for communicating time-off requests.
Work a minimum of three shifts per week, regularly work weekends, and be available for holidays when necessary.
