About The Position

A Brewista at 7Brew helps carry out the company’s mission to inspire a community of kindness through a revolutionary coffee experience. Brewistas report to the stand manager and serve customers, teammates, and vendors with kindness and positive interactions. The role includes taking and entering customer orders, collecting payments, preparing drinks and premixes, and maintaining a clean, stocked, safe, and healthy coffee-stand environment. Brewistas are expected to work with urgency, stay productive throughout each shift, know the menu well enough to guide customers, and complete shift-change duties, checklists, and weekly chores as needed. The position requires working outdoors for prolonged periods in varying weather, handling hot water and coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products, and performing physical tasks such as lifting, standing, climbing, and bending. Scheduling is flexible, with a minimum of three shifts per week. Regular weekend work is required, and holiday availability may be needed.

Requirements

Able to create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions with strangers for up to five minutes at a time.
Able to work carefully and quickly with hot water and coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products.
Able to work outdoors for prolonged periods, regardless of weather conditions.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to stand comfortably for hours at a time.
Able to climb a ladder and use a stepladder.
Able to stand, sit, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to stock and clean the stand.
Able to safely walk between and around cars in the drive-through line.
Able to safely use a utility knife.
Works a minimum of three shifts per week.
Regularly works weekends and is available to work holidays if necessary.

Responsibilities

Confirm customers’ drink orders and enter them accurately into the point-of-sale system.
Collect payments and correctly count back change.
Prepare drinks and premixes.
Work with urgency and remain productive and proactive throughout the shift.
Build genuine, positive connections with customers and offer menu guidance and recommendations when appropriate.
Know the menu and drink offerings.
Dress appropriately for the assigned position and arrive clocked in and ready to work at the assigned position when the shift begins.
Complete shift-change duties, checklists, and weekly chores as needed.
Treat teammates and customers with respect and kindness.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
Follow company procedures for communicating time-off requests.
