About The Position

A Brewista supports 7Brew’s mission to inspire a community of kindness through a revolutionary coffee experience. Brewistas report to the stand manager and create positive interactions with customers, teammates, and vendors. They take and enter orders, collect payments, prepare drinks and premixes, and keep the stand clean, stocked, safe, and productive throughout each shift. The role involves working quickly and carefully, knowing the menu, and helping customers choose drinks that suit them. Brewistas work a flexible schedule, a minimum of three shifts per week, and regularly work weekends. They must be available for holidays if necessary. Shifts may be four, five, or seven hours and may be day or night shifts. The physical setting is a coffee shop, and the work location is one location.

Requirements

Able to create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions with strangers for up to five minutes at a time.
Able to work carefully and quickly with hot water, coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products.
Able to work outdoors for prolonged periods in varying weather conditions.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to stand comfortably for hours at a time.
Able to climb a ladder and use a stepladder.
Able to stand, sit, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to stock and clean the stand.
Able to walk safely between and around cars in the drive-thru line.
Able to use a utility knife safely.
Works a flexible schedule and a minimum of three shifts per week.
Regularly works weekends and is available to work holidays if necessary.

Responsibilities

Confirm customers’ drink orders and enter them accurately into the point-of-sale system.
Collect payments and accurately count back change.
Prepare drinks and premixes.
Work with urgency and remain productive and proactive throughout the shift, including during slow periods.
Build personal connections with customers through genuine interactions, warm smiles, and positive body language.
Know the menu and drink offerings and help customers identify and order their desired drinks, offering recommendations when appropriate.
Dress appropriately for the assigned position and arrive clocked in and ready to work at the assigned position when the shift begins.
Learn and complete shift-change duties, checklists, and weekly chores as needed.
Treat teammates and customers with respect and kindness.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organizational standards and sanitation regulations.
Follow company procedures for communicating time-off requests.
