About The Position

Brewistas help carry out Brewista’s mission to inspire a community of kindness through a revolutionary coffee experience. They report to the stand manager and treat interactions with customers, teammates, and vendors as opportunities to build others up. During each shift, Brewistas prepare drinks, take orders, connect with customers, prepare premixed flavors and teas, clean, and stock the stand.

Requirements

Able to create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions with strangers for up to five minutes at a time.
Able to work carefully and quickly with hot water, coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products.
Able to work outdoors for prolonged periods in varying weather conditions.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to stand comfortably for hours at a time.
Able to climb a ladder and use a stepladder.
Able to stand, sit, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to stock and clean.
Able to walk safely between and around cars in the drive-thru line.
Able to use a utility knife safely.
Works a flexible schedule and a minimum of three shifts per week.
Follows company procedures for communicating time-off requests.
Regularly works weekends and is available to work holidays if necessary.

Responsibilities

Confirm customers’ drink orders and enter orders accurately into the point-of-sale system.
Collect payments and accurately count back change.
Prepare drinks and premixes.
Work with urgency and stay productive and proactive throughout the shift, including during slow periods.
Build personal connections with customers through genuine interactions, warm smiles, and positive body language.
Know the menu and drink offerings, help customers identify what they want, and offer suggestions when appropriate.
Dress appropriately for the assigned position and bring a positive, ready-to-work attitude.
Follow shift-change duties, checklists, and weekly chores, completing tasks as needed.
Be clocked in and ready at the assigned position when the shift begins.
Treat teammates and customers with respect and kindness.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organizational standards and sanitation regulations.
