About The Position

Sugarloaf is hiring outgoing and dependable Breakfast Servers to work at 45 North during the winter season. The position focuses on completing food-service tasks consistently, carefully, and systematically in a service-friendly environment. Full-time and part-time positions are available for morning shifts. This is a tip-driven role with an hourly server rate starting at $7.85.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess ServSafe certification or be able to obtain certification upon hire.
• Must be available to work mornings.
• Must have reliable transportation because the shift typically starts outside team member shuttle hours.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests.
• Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
• Answer questions about food, beverages, and other restaurant functions and services.
• Take food and beverage orders and enter them in the point-of-sale system, which relays orders to the kitchen and bar.
• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner.
• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by the service station assignment.
• Monitor guests’ dining experiences, ensure they are satisfied with the food and service, and respond promptly and courteously to requests.
• Prepare the final bill, present the check, accept payment, and process credit card charges or make change when applicable.
• Assist fellow servers as situations arise or as needed.
• Assist the bus person with clearing and resetting tables as needed.
