About The Position

Calypso is looking for a reliable, upbeat Breakfast Server to kickstart our guests' mornings. The breakfast service runs from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Because our breakfast service flows directly into lunch, there is an opportunity to transition into a lunch server shift, providing flexibility and the chance to maximize hours. During the off-season, there is an opportunity to transition into shifts at Hair of the Dog to keep hours steady and stable.

Requirements

• Punctuality is required due to the 6:30 AM start time.
• Adaptability to handle a fast-paced transition from breakfast to lunch service.
• Willingness to work between Calypso and Hair of the Dog.
• Previous serving experience is a plus.
• A great attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Arrive ready for a 6:30 AM sharp opening to set up the dining area, brew fresh coffee, and welcome guests.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, deliver hot breakfast items promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Efficiently assist in transitioning the dining room from breakfast to lunch service at 10:30 AM.
• Be willing to cross-train and adapt to sister-location menus and standards at Hair of the Dog during the off-season.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked server station.
• Handle payments accurately using the POS system.
