About The Position

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for the success of the hotel's breakfast service and for meeting guest satisfaction and product quality standards. The attendant serves as a key point of reference for guests while preparing and serving made-to-order food and beverages in the hotel breakfast or reception area. The position may require flexible scheduling availability, and weekly hours vary based on guest occupancy, season, staffing, and other factors; a specific number of weekly hours is not guaranteed.

The role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. Island Hospitality offers a formal training and development program and resources to support employees’ growth in the hospitality business.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble breakfast service before mealtime and disassemble it afterward.
• Keep the breakfast service space well-stocked.
• Clear cutlery and crockery from customers’ tables.
• Receive beverage orders and direct them to the kitchen as needed.
• Provide information and assistance to guests and vendors.
• Clean and sanitize tables, countertops, and floors after each meal service.
• Deliver a positive guest experience while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.
