About The Position

We are seeking a Breakfast Attendant for a new hotel opening in August. The role involves setting up and maintaining the breakfast buffet, ensuring food and beverages are attractively displayed, and keeping the area clean and stocked. The attendant will prepare beverages, manage inventory, and interact with guests to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Sets up the buffet before guests arrive.
• Displays food and beverages in an organized and attractive manner.
• Cleans the buffet area by wiping, sweeping, and/or mopping.
• Cleans off tables prior to guest arrival.
• Sets out plates, cups, bowls, utensils, and napkins.
• Prepares coffee and/or tea.
• Keeps juices and other perishables chilled or on ice.
• Checks for low food supply and replenishes as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of the buffet area throughout the morning.
• Properly disposes of used items.
• Removes and disposes of leftover food at the end of the shift.
• Cleans buffet area according to established standards.
• Ensures inventory is stocked and properly stored.
• May keep records of foods used and consumed.
• May order additional food and/or supplies as needed.
• Greets guests and accommodates special requests.
• Provides a professional image through appearance and dress.
• Follows company policies and procedures.
• Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner.
• Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
