About The Position

The Branch Supervisor provides personalized banking services to members and leads and directs branch sales and service activities to achieve deposit growth, loan growth, and member and employee satisfaction goals. The role has supervisory responsibility for the branch team in meeting the Credit Union’s administrative and operational objectives and supports compliance with Credit Union policies and procedures.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of related experience in a financial institution.
• Completion of high school education.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain Member satisfaction as the priority in all activities.
• Make sound decisions, including on-the-spot decisions about Member transactions while weighing Member satisfaction against the Credit Union’s exposure to loss or fraud.
• Welcome new Members by following established onboarding procedures.
• Perform administrative and operational functions supporting Membership maintenance and documentation.
• Maintain current knowledge of financial products, services, and delivery methods.
• Conduct training sessions as necessary.
• Manage balancing functions for the branch and its associates.
• Manage branch cash and negotiable items within approved limits.
• Ensure branch compliance with federal laws and regulations established by the National Credit Union Administration and other regulatory agencies.
• Maintain sound operating controls and conduct audit and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
• Make independent decisions according to established policies and procedures.
• Manage branch safety and security under established policies and procedures.
• Conduct weekly or otherwise necessary scheduled staff meetings to ensure a timely flow of information.
