About The Position

The Branch Director, Home Health is responsible for administering and managing branch operations. The role develops, plans, implements, analyzes, and organizes branch operations; oversees care delivery for patients served by the branch by supervising and supporting Clinical Managers; and works with operations and finance leaders to establish revenue and budget goals. The Director supports clinical leadership, quality home care services, effective office operations, and a safe workplace that complies with local ordinances, fire and safety regulations, and company policies. The position conducts quarterly continuous quality improvement committee meetings, reviews patient satisfaction data, follows up on negative surveys, and conducts follow-up visits with referral sources. It communicates with operations leadership for direction, problem-solving, and program and protocol implementation. The Director partners with Sales Directors and Account Managers to meet admission goals and participates in sales and marketing initiatives. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

At least 2 years of healthcare operations management experience, preferably in Home Health.
Outstanding leadership skills and demonstrated experience motivating, educating, supervising, and supporting staff and developing a cohesive team.
Experience with quality improvement monitoring and reporting tools and methods.
Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations, and accreditation standards.
Fiscal management experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Valid state driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile liability insurance.

Nice To Haves

Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice is preferred.
Prior Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop, plan, implement, analyze, and organize branch operations.
Oversee care delivery for all patients served by the branch by providing supervision and support to Clinical Managers.
Work with the Area Director of Operations or AVP of Operations and the Finance Department to establish branch revenue and budget goals.
Support and supervise Clinical Managers to promote effective performance and quality home care services.
Maintain efficient, productive, effective, and organized office operations and a safe work environment in compliance with local ordinances, fire and safety regulations, and company policies.
Conduct quarterly continuous quality improvement committee meetings.
Review patient satisfaction data and follow up on negative patient satisfaction surveys and with referral sources.
Communicate with the Area Director of Operations or AVP of Operations for direction, problem-solving, and implementation of programs and protocols.
Partner with Sales Directors and Account Managers to meet budgeted admission goals.
Participate in sales and marketing initiatives.
