About The Position

This position supports sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams floorcovering store and coordinates all aspects of floorcovering installation through independent contractors to serve wholesale floorcovering customers. The Branch Coordinator assists in identifying floorcovering installers, schedules installations, and ensures work is carried out in line with customer expectations. The position is based at Store #721191, 3560 E Evergreen St, Springfield, MO 65803-5716, and is full-time.

The role includes customer contact, which may include minors, and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other items of value. Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• At least a high school diploma or GED.
• At least one (1) year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
• Previous work experience selling floorcovering and/or floorcovering products.
• Prior work experience operating floorcovering cutting equipment.
• Previous work experience installing floorcovering.
• Carpet and Vinyl Installation Certification by the Carpet and Rug Institute.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Support sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams floorcovering store serving wholesale customers.
• Assist the Branch Manager in identifying floorcovering installers.
• Establish installation schedules and communicate assignments.
• Conduct on-site installation inspections to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Review new and existing floorcovering installer accounts, including contacting outside sources for information.
• Ensure installer transactions are handled properly through the store computer operating system and that records are maintained properly.
• Determine floorcovering installation training needs and require training as appropriate.
