Branch Coordinator - Floorcovering Installations
About The Position
This position supports sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams floorcovering store and coordinates all aspects of floorcovering installation through independent contractors to serve wholesale floorcovering customers. The role assists in identifying floorcovering installers, scheduling installations, and ensuring the work meets expectations. The position is based at Store #721191, 3560 E Evergreen St, Springfield, MO 65803-5716, and is full-time. The role involves contact with customers, potentially including minors, and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other items of value. Sherwin-Williams has determined that a criminal-history review is necessary to protect the business, its operations and reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the general public.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without current or future sponsorship for an employment work visa.
- Have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
- Be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
- Be willing, with or without reasonable accommodation, to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
- Previous work experience selling floorcovering and/or floorcovering products.
- Prior work experience operating floorcovering cutting equipment.
- Previous work experience installing floorcovering.
- Carpet and Vinyl Installation Certification by the Carpet and Rug Institute.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Support sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams floorcovering store serving wholesale customers.
- Assist the Branch Manager in identifying floorcovering installers.
- Establish installation schedules and communicate assignments.
- Conduct on-site installation inspections to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Review new and existing floorcovering installer accounts, including contacting outside sources for information.
- Ensure installer transactions are handled properly through the store computer operating system and maintain proper records.
- Determine floorcovering installation training needs and require training as appropriate.
