About The Position

This full-time position supports sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams floorcovering store and coordinates floorcovering installation through independent contractors for wholesale floorcovering customers. The coordinator assists with identifying installers, schedules installation work, and ensures that installations meet expectations. The position is based at Store #703580, 1 Harkness Blvd Suite 400, Fredericksburg, VA 22405, and pays starting at $26.28 per hour.

The role involves contact with customers, potentially including minors, and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other valuable items. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without current or future sponsorship for an employment work visa.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
• Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
• Must be willing, with or without reasonable accommodation, to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
• For current Sherwin-Williams employees: must have received at least a “meets expectations” (3) rating on the most recent performance appraisal.
• For current Sherwin-Williams employees: must have completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for the current position.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
• Previous work experience selling floorcovering and/or floorcovering products.
• Prior work experience operating floorcovering cutting equipment.
• Previous work experience installing floorcovering.
• Carpet and Vinyl Installation Certification by the Carpet and Rug Institute.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Support sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams floorcovering store serving wholesale customers.
• Assist the Branch Manager in identifying floorcovering installers.
• Establish installation schedules and communicate assignments.
• Conduct on-site installation inspections to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Review new and existing floorcovering installer accounts, including contacting outside sources for information.
• Ensure installer transactions are properly handled through the store computer operating system and that records are maintained.
• Determine floorcovering installation training needs and require training as appropriate.
