About The Position

Capital One is hiring a Branch Ambassador to provide a human-centered banking experience in a community hub that combines technology with personal service. The role focuses on building customer relationships, delivering attentive hospitality, and helping clients use digital banking tools and identify solutions that support their financial goals. The Branch Ambassador processes cash transactions and negotiable instruments accurately while following security, audit, BSA/AML, and federal regulatory requirements. The role also educates clients about digital banking, identifies customer needs through active listening, and helps maintain a welcoming and efficient branch environment. The position may require supporting nearby branches within 50 miles and occasionally assisting other locations in the broader region.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
At least 1 year of retail, sales, or customer service experience.
At least 6 months of cash handling experience.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and adapt to changes in hours and days.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand or move for extended periods.
Ability to attend all required training sessions.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree.
2 or more years of retail or customer-facing experience.
Proficiency in G-Suite.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Process high-volume cash transactions, including deposits and withdrawals, and handle negotiable instruments accurately.
Follow security, audit, BSA/AML, and federal regulatory standards.
Teach clients how to use mobile banking, remote deposit capture, contactless payments, and other digital tools.
Listen to clients, identify personal or business needs, and connect them with relevant digital tools or banking solutions.
Welcome customers and maintain a hospitable, community-focused branch environment.
Support nearby branches within a 50-mile radius and occasionally assist other locations in the broader region.
Attend required training sessions, which may be scheduled differently from the primary shift.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
