About The Position

Capital One is hiring a Branch Ambassador to provide a human-centered banking experience that combines attentive hospitality with digital banking support. The Branch Ambassador builds relationships with clients, helps them use digital tools, identifies their personal or business needs, and connects them with relevant banking solutions. The role also performs high-volume cash transactions accurately and follows security, audit, BSA/AML, and federal regulatory requirements. The position requires flexibility to support nearby branches within a 50-mile radius and, occasionally, other locations in the broader region. Work schedules may include weekends and may change to meet business needs. Required training may take place on a schedule different from the primary shift. The role involves lifting up to 25 pounds and standing or moving for extended periods. This is a full-time position based in Sulphur, Louisiana, with a stated annual salary of $43,680.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
At least 1 year of retail, sales, or customer service experience.
At least 6 months of cash handling experience.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and adapt to business-driven schedule adjustments.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and move or stand for extended periods.
Ability to attend required training sessions on varying schedules.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree.
At least 2 years of retail or customer-facing experience.
Proficiency in G-Suite.
Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform high-volume cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and processing negotiable instruments, with accuracy.
Follow security, audit, BSA/AML, and federal regulatory standards.
Teach clients to use mobile banking, remote deposit capture, and contactless payments.
Listen to clients, identify personal or business goals, and connect them with appropriate digital tools or banking solutions.
Welcome and assist customers throughout the branch, balancing operational efficiency with attentive service.
Support nearby branches within a 50-mile radius and occasionally assist other locations in the broader region.
Attend required training sessions, which may take place outside the primary shift schedule.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
