About The Position

Capital One is hiring a part-time Branch Ambassador to deliver a welcoming, human-centered customer experience in a community banking space. The role combines attentive hospitality, accurate transaction processing, digital banking guidance, and identifying customer needs. Branch Ambassadors help customers use digital tools and banking solutions while supporting a safe, compliant, and efficient branch environment.

The role may require supporting other branches within a 50-mile radius and occasionally assisting other locations in the broader region. Employees must be available for a flexible schedule, including weekends; hours and days may change based on business needs. Required training may occur on a schedule different from the primary shift. The position involves lifting up to 25 pounds and standing or moving for extended periods, along with regular and consistent attendance.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 1 year of retail, sales, or customer service experience.
• At least 6 months of cash handling experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and adapt to business-driven schedule changes.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and move or stand for extended periods.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Ability to attend all required training sessions.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree.
• 2 or more years of retail or customer-facing experience.
• Proficiency in G-Suite.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and negotiable instruments, accurately.
• Follow security, audit, BSA/AML, and federal regulatory standards.
• Educate customers on mobile banking, remote deposit capture, contactless payments, and other digital banking tools.
• Listen to customers, identify personal or business goals, and connect them with appropriate digital tools or banking solutions.
• Welcome and assist customers throughout the branch, balancing efficient service with a hospitable, community-focused experience.
• Support other branches within a 50-mile radius as needed and occasionally assist locations elsewhere in the region.
• Attend required training sessions, which may take place at times different from the primary shift.
