About The Position

Capital One is hiring a part-time Branch Ambassador to provide a welcoming, human-centered banking experience that combines customer service with digital tools. The role involves helping clients use mobile banking, remote deposit capture, and contactless payments; understanding their personal or business goals; and connecting them with appropriate banking solutions. Branch Ambassadors also handle cash and negotiable instruments accurately while following security, audit, BSA/AML, and federal regulatory requirements. The position requires adaptability in a fast-moving branch environment and support for nearby branches as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 1 year of retail, sales, or customer service experience.
• At least 6 months of cash-handling experience.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand or move for extended periods.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and adapt to schedule changes.
• Able to attend required training sessions.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree.
• 2 or more years of retail or customer-facing experience.
• Proficiency in G-Suite.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, and complex negotiable instruments accurately while complying with security, audit, BSA/AML, and federal regulatory requirements.
• Teach clients to use mobile banking, remote deposit capture, and contactless payments.
• Listen to clients, identify personal or business needs, and connect them with relevant digital tools or banking solutions.
• Welcome clients, provide attentive hospitality, and help ensure an efficient, community-focused branch experience.
• Support surrounding branches within a 50-mile radius and, occasionally, other locations in the broader region.
• Attend required training sessions, which may take place on a schedule different from the primary shift.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
• Adapt to flexible schedules, including weekends, and to business-driven schedule changes.
