About The Position

Capital One is hiring a part-time Branch Ambassador to provide welcoming, technology-enabled customer service in a community banking hub. The role combines accurate cash transaction processing and compliance with helping customers use digital banking tools and identify relevant banking solutions. Branch Ambassadors create a hospitable environment, anticipate customer needs, and support customers’ financial goals without traditional sales quotas. The position may require supporting nearby branches within a 50-mile radius and occasionally other locations in the broader region. Employees must be available for a flexible schedule, including weekends, and adapt to business-driven schedule changes. Required training may take place on a schedule different from the primary shift. The role involves lifting up to 25 pounds and standing or moving for extended periods. Regular, consistent attendance is required.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
At least 1 year of retail, sales, or customer service experience.
At least 6 months of cash handling experience.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and adapt to schedule changes.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand or move for extended periods.
Ability to attend required training sessions, which may be scheduled differently from the primary shift.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree.
At least 2 years of retail or customer-facing experience.
Proficiency in G-Suite.
Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Process high-volume cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and negotiable instruments, accurately.
Follow security, audit, BSA/AML, and federal regulatory standards to protect customer assets.
Teach customers to use mobile banking, remote deposit capture, contactless payments, and other digital tools.
Listen to customers, identify personal or business needs, and connect them with appropriate digital tools or banking solutions.
Greet customers and provide attentive, hospitable service throughout the branch.
Support other branches within a 50-mile radius as needed, with occasional support at other regional locations.
Attend all required training sessions and maintain regular, consistent attendance.
