About The Position

Capital One is hiring a part-time Branch Ambassador to provide a human-centered banking experience in its community hubs. The role combines accurate transaction processing, digital banking education, customer needs discovery, and welcoming hospitality. Branch Ambassadors help customers use digital tools and identify banking solutions that support their personal or business goals, while maintaining a safe, compliant, and efficient branch environment. The position requires schedule flexibility, including nights and weekends, and may involve supporting other branches within a 50-mile radius or occasionally other locations in the broader region.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 1 year of retail, sales, or customer service experience.
• At least 6 months of cash handling experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, with hours and days subject to change.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and move or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to attend all required training sessions.
• Strong hospitality and customer-service orientation, attention to detail, adaptability, curiosity, and comfort with digital tools.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree.
• 2 or more years of retail or customer-facing experience.
• Proficiency in G-Suite.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and negotiable instruments, accurately.
• Follow security, audit, BSA/AML, and federal regulatory standards to protect customer assets.
• Educate clients on mobile banking, remote deposit capture, and contactless payments.
• Listen to customers, identify personal or business needs, and connect them with appropriate digital tools or banking solutions.
• Welcome customers and provide attentive, hospitable service throughout the branch.
• Support other branches as needed within a 50-mile radius, with occasional assistance at locations elsewhere in the region.
• Attend required training sessions, which may occur on a schedule different from the primary shift.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and adapt to schedule changes driven by business needs.
