About The Position

Capital One is hiring a full-time Branch Ambassador to create a human-centered banking experience in its community hubs. The role combines hospitality, relationship-building, accurate cash handling, and digital banking support. Branch Ambassadors help clients use banking technology, understand available solutions, and work toward personal or business financial goals. The position emphasizes customer service without traditional sales quotas, in a fast-moving, adaptable branch environment. The role may require supporting nearby branches within a 50-mile radius and occasionally assisting other locations in the broader region. Employees must be available for a flexible schedule that may include weekends, and must attend required training sessions, which may occur on a different schedule. Lifting up to 25 pounds and standing or moving for extended periods are required.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
At least 1 year of retail, sales, or customer service experience.
At least 6 months of cash handling experience.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and adapt to schedule changes.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand or move for extended periods.
Strong customer service, interpersonal, and relationship-building orientation.
Comfort with digital tools and ability to teach others how to use them.
Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree.
2 or more years of retail or customer-facing experience.
Proficiency in G-Suite.
Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Process high-volume cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and negotiable instruments, accurately.
Follow security, audit, BSA/AML, and federal regulatory requirements to protect customer assets.
Teach clients how to use mobile banking, remote deposit capture, and contactless payments.
Listen to clients, identify their personal or business needs, and connect them with appropriate digital tools or banking solutions.
Welcome customers and provide attentive, hospitable service throughout the branch.
Support nearby branches within a 50-mile radius and occasionally assist other locations in the region.
Attend required training sessions and maintain regular, consistent attendance.
