About The Position
Capital One is seeking a Branch Ambassador to deliver a human-centered banking experience in a community branch. The role combines customer hospitality, accurate transaction processing, and guidance on digital banking tools. Branch Ambassadors help customers with financial needs and goals while fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment and adapting to a fast-moving workspace. The position supports nearby branches as needed within a 50-mile radius, with occasional assistance at other locations in the broader region. The schedule is flexible and may include weekends; hours and days may change based on business needs. Required training may occur outside the primary shift. The role requires regular attendance, lifting up to 25 pounds, and standing or moving for extended periods.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
- At least 1 year of retail, sales, or customer service experience.
- At least 6 months of cash handling experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and schedule changes.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and move or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to attend required training sessions, which may be scheduled differently from the primary shift.
- Regular and consistent attendance.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Process high-volume cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and negotiable instruments, accurately.
- Follow security, audit, BSA/AML, and federal regulatory standards to safeguard customer assets.
- Teach customers to use mobile banking, remote deposit capture, contactless payments, and other digital tools.
- Listen to customers, identify personal or business goals, and connect them with relevant digital tools or banking solutions.
- Welcome and assist customers throughout the branch, balancing efficient service with a warm, community-focused experience.
- Support nearby branches within a 50-mile radius and, occasionally, other locations in the broader region.
- Attend required training sessions and maintain regular, consistent attendance.
