About The Position

Capital One is seeking a customer-focused Branch Ambassador to provide a welcoming, human-centered banking experience in a community branch. The role combines accurate cash handling and compliance with digital banking guidance, needs identification, and attentive customer service. Branch Ambassadors help clients use digital tools and banking solutions while supporting a safe, efficient, and hospitable branch environment. This is a part-time role based in Edgard, Louisiana, with a need to support nearby branches as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 1 year of retail, sales, or customer service experience.
• At least 6 months of cash handling experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and adapt to business-driven schedule adjustments.
• Ability to attend required training sessions on varying schedules.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and move or stand for extended periods.
• Regular and consistent attendance.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree.
• 2 or more years of retail or customer-facing experience.
• Proficiency in G-Suite.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and negotiable instruments accurately.
• Follow security, audit, BSA/AML, and federal regulatory requirements to protect customers’ assets.
• Educate clients on mobile banking, remote deposit capture, contactless payments, and other digital tools.
• Listen to clients, identify personal or business goals, and connect them with appropriate digital tools or banking solutions.
• Welcome customers and provide attentive, hospitable service throughout the branch.
• Support surrounding branches within a 50-mile radius and occasionally assist other locations in the broader region.
• Work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and changing days or hours; attend required training sessions, which may take place on a different schedule.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
