About The Position

Carvana is hiring a Brake and Tire Technician to work in one of its high-tech vehicle Inspection Centers. The technician performs light maintenance and repairs to help prepare vehicles for customers, including brake and tire work. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees to support the development of skills and pay progression. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional automotive repair experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance.
• Perform basic mechanical repairs to brake pads, calipers, and rotors.
• Install tires and perform wheel alignments.
• Perform light maintenance or repairs, including changing brakes and tires.
