About The Position

Carvana is seeking a Brake and Tire Technician to perform light automotive maintenance and repairs at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The role focuses on routine inspections and maintenance, brake repairs, tire installation, and wheel alignments. Entry-level employees may have access to training programs intended to help their skills and pay progress with the company. The position requires at least one year of professional automotive repair experience. Technicians work in a fast-paced production environment and may be exposed to heat or cold. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check; the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 1 year of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a motor vehicle records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
